Pet should have been home

The Spokesman-Review

I was reading the story on July 3 about a man wanted for smashing a car window and throwing the dog against a wall. That was utterly terrible what he did!

Here is my question: First off, the windows were up and the owners went to see a movie for several hours? Second, that means the poor dog was left in a car with the windows up. The guy was definitely wrong for what he did and should go to jail, but it is OK to leave a poor defenseless animal in a car and go watch a movie? So selfish. Leave the dog at home and none of this would have happened. Sad but true.
