Pilates: the Fundamentals – Seven-week session begins Monday. Held Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m. at East West Fitness World, 1506 N. Monroe St. Introductory class for those new to Pilates or those who would like to revisit Pilates fundamentals. Designed to give a clear and solid understanding of Pilates and its mind body connection while providing step-by-step instruction and strength-building techniques. Cost is $64. Baby Sign Language – Learn to communicate with your baby before he or she can speak. Participants will learn the history and benefits of signing and 50 useful signs to use at home with baby. Camp Fun in the Sun – For children living with diabetes. Newly diagnosed and seasoned campers alike have the opportunity to participate in activities and spend time with other kids who also have diabetes. Dedicated and professional staff help campers have fun while learning more about balancing food, insulin and activities to better control their diabetes. Cost is $275, scholarships are available and donations are also accepted to send a child to camp. Camp for grades 1-6 is Aug. 4-8 at Twinlow Camp and Retreat Center, 22787 N.
