St. Joseph Family Center Classes – Qi-Gong – The art of combining slow movements and breath to increase energy and improve health, enhance confidence, relieve depression, firm the body, and alleviate symptoms of asthma, back pain and other conditions. Red Cross Adult/Child CPR/AED plus Infant CPR Classes – Learn to care for respiratory or cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants. Topics include choking, rescue breaths, chest compressions and operation of an AED. Participants receive a laminated reference skills card, workbook and a CPR/AED certification card valid for one year. Babysitting Basics – Full day program for youths age 10-15 who are interested in babysitting. Living Well in Idaho – Free wellness workshops open to anyone with a chronic condition but aimed particularly at seniors. Participants will learn the information and tools to live independently rather than in a care facility. Topics include healthy eating, better breathing techniques, and how to handle depression. Camp Fun in the Sun – For children living with diabetes. Newly diagnosed and seasoned campers alike have the opportunity to participate in activities and spend time with other kids who also have diabetes. Dedicated and professional staff help campers have fun while learning more about balancing food, insulin and activities to better control their diabetes.
