Week in review

Fairfield City Council – The town’s annual Water Use Efficiency Performance report has been completed. The recent Flag Day celebration was well attended. The town is expecting to receive a Community Development Block Grant for $20,000 to determine the source of infiltration and inflow in the town’s sewer system. Another grant for $107,000 is expected for the town’s manhole and sewer line replacement project. The sidewalk project at the Community Center is under way. (Source: Town clerk Cheryl Loeffler)
