Suspicious Moses Lake death was natural causes

Columbia Basin Herald
MOSES LAKE, Wash. — The suspicious death of a woman in the Moses Lake house where her boyfriend was killed has been ruled natural causes. The Grant County coroner’s office says 30-year-old Heather Hurley Smith died from a diabetic problem. The sheriff’s office said the death in December was suspicious because Smith was found naked in the vacant home where her 53-year-old boyfriend, Javier Martinez Adame, was killed Aug. 3 by a pipe bomb explosion in the kitchen. The Columbia Basin Herald reports his death remains under investigation.
