New nightclub opens at Northern Quest

From Staff Reports

Northern Quest Resort and Casino formally opens its new nightclub, Impulse, this weekend with an appearance by DJ Kowax from Las Vegas.

Impulse, just off the main casino floor in the space formerly occupied by the Legends of Fire sports lounge, features a full-service bar, computerized light system and cigar lounge.

It will be open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., with an emphasis on dance club mixes. Look for DJ Fusion on Wednesday and Thursday, and DJ Parafyn on Friday and Saturday.

DJ Kowax, a Spokane native who regularly appears at the Forty Deuce at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino, joins DJ Parafyn tonight and Saturday. Cover charge is $10 ($5 for Camas Club members).

A “casual chic” dress code is in effect, with banned items including sports jerseys, tank tops on men, torn and baggy jeans, hoodies, bandanas, hats and sunglasses.
