Irish colors fly at Spokane City Hall

The Spokesman-Review
An Irish flag waves in the breeze above Spokane City Hall on St. Patrick’s Day today, part of a weeklong acknowledgement of Spokane’s connection with Ireland. City spokeswoman Marlene Feist said the orange, white and green flag was hoisted at the request of the Limerick Sister City Society in Spokane. Limerick, Ireland, is one of Spokane’s sister cities. The Irish flag has been flying beneath City Hall’s American flag for a week now, and after today, it will be taken down, Feist said.
