Hayden man pleads not guilty to drug charges

A businessman and high school booster from Hayden has pleaded not guilty to three federal drug charges. Jerald Stuart Carlson was charged with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and attempt to possess with intent to distribute cocaine. Carlson was arrested on Feb. 13 when Idaho State Police raided his business, Carlson’s Insurance Agency. His trial has been scheduled for May 12.
