“Other Dimensions,” Melissa and Brandon Cole

What: First joint Spokane show by local husband-and-wife wildlife art team. Acrylic painter Melissa, known for her colorful, detailed works, has added a new dimension by creating “puzzle paintings” combining canvases of various sizes and thicknesses. Photographer Brandon specializes in underwater scenes, with exotic coral reefs as his favorite subjects. The exhibit also will highlight aspects of their life together including their travels and their writing.

When: Opens Friday and continues through April 25; opening reception Friday, 5 to 9 p.m., with live music and light refreshments.
