She’s not just phoning it in

Paris Hilton may have a reputation as a party girl, but her lawyer says she’s actually “the single busiest person on the planet.”

Defending herself against a lawsuit claiming she didn’t promote her 2006 movie “Pledge This,” Hilton insists in court documents that she did all she could given her schedule.

“Any chance I got, any red carpet, any press, if I was doing something for another product … I would just bring it up, ‘Oh, my new sorority film, it’s going to be sexy, it’s going to be really hot girls – like I really, you know, did my best,” said Hilton, 28.

Her pretrial deposition also reveals that Hilton prefers David Letterman to Jay Leno – whose questions she doesn’t like – even though Letterman made fun over her 2007 jailing related to a drunken driving case.

“(Letterman) apologized and called me and sent me flowers and was very sweet … and we made up,” she said.

Hilton also admitted she’d never seen her cell phone bills until attorneys showed her one.

Asked who gets her bills, she replied: “I don’t know. I’m assuming, like, whoever pays my bills. I never ask about that stuff.”

More like the prince of paupers

Michael Jackson’s publicist and general manager has filed a $44 million lawsuit claiming she wasn’t paid for deals she’s made.

Raymone Bain is the latest in a string of former associates who have sued him claiming he didn’t pay for their services.

Still, she says: “When looking back, I have no regrets. Michael Jackson, in my opinion, is the ‘King of Pop.’ ”

A case of Kiefer madness?

Kiefer Sutherland was charged with assault Thursday for allegedly head-butting a fashion designer at a Manhattan nightclub.

It’s unclear whether the charges will affect the “24” star’s probation status for a drunken-driving conviction last year.

‘Jon & Kate Plus 8 Plus 1’

Jon Gosselin, who stars on the TLC reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” is denying tabloid reports that he cheated on his wife.

Kate Gosselin, who’s promoting her latest book, “Eight Little Faces: A Mom’s Journey,” has cut back on press amid the allegations.

The fifth season of the series is scheduled to premiere May 25.

Must be a little Toni deaf

A Las Vegas-based celebrity impersonator has been jailed after prosecutors said she tried to pass herself off as Toni Braxton at a concert in Suriname, prompting the disappointed crowd to jeer and pelt the stage with trash.

Trina Johnson-Finn’s husband claims an unscrupulous promoter billed her as the real Braxton without her knowledge.

An African newspaper reporter who attended the show told the Associated Press, “My friend said at one point, ‘What happened to Toni? She sounds terrible!’ ”
