Senior meals

For the week of June 1-5

Monday – Option 1: Baked ham with cherry sauce, creamed potatoes, broccoli, fresh fruit, bread, cookie. Option 2: Baked-potato casserole, broccoli, fresh fruit, bread, cookie.

Tuesday – 1: Chicken alfredo with pasta, vegetables, peas, breadstick, apple cranberry crisp. 2: Barbecue pork on a bun, peas, apple cranberry crisp.

Wednesday – 1: Newport beef casserole, vegetables, applesauce, dinner roll, cake. 2: Meatloaf sandwich, vegetables, applesauce, dinner roll, cake.

Thursday – 1: Spaghetti with meat sauce, Italian green beans, salad with dressing, breadstick, peach cobbler. 2: Cottage cheese plate, salad with dressing, breadstick, fresh vegetables.

Friday – 1: Roast turkey with gravy, garlic mashed potatoes, peas and carrots, vegetables, chilled pears, lemon bar. 2: Chili con carne, salad with dressing, French bread, chilled pears, lemon bar.

Valley Senior Center, 926-1937, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Monday-Friday, noon

Edgecliff Community Center, 6903 E. Fourth Ave., Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Deer Park Senior Center, 276-2411, 316 E. Crawford Ave., Deer Park, Monday-Friday, 11:30 a.m.

Hillyard Senior Center, 482-0803, 4001 N. Cook St., Monday-Friday, 11:45 a.m.
