Engagements

Johnson-Rice

Melissa Rice and Alex Johnson, both of Albany, Ore., plan to marry July 11.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mark and Margo Rice, Colbert. The groom-to-be is the son of Dennis Johnson, Eugene, Ore., and Linda Davis, Redding, Calif.

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Rice is a graduate student at UO. Johnson is also a graduate of UO, and is a police officer in Albany.

Parker-Boling

Kristen Boling and James Parker, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 15.

Lee and Barb Boling, Spokane, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Bob and Vicki Parker, Spokane.

Boling, a graduate of Spokane Falls Community College, is employed as a customer service manager at Floor Supply Distributing Inc. A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Parker is a mechanical engineer at F5 Networks Inc. in Liberty Lake.

Awe-Emery

Annie Emery and Christopher Awe, both of Bozeman, Mont., plan to marry Aug. 22.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Virgil and Julie Emery, Spokane. Jerry and Susan Awe, Sioux Falls, S.D., are the parents of the groom-to-be.

Emery is employed as a massage therapist. Awe, who graduated from Montana State University, is a national and international sales manager for Sitka Gear.
