Monday is the last chance to sign up for the Spokane Mountaineers Mountain Biking Clinic, scheduled for June 13-14 at Riverside State Park.

Established 10 years ago, the venerable clinic brings together the club’s experienced riders to shed their savvy on novices and experienced riders alike.

The theory: Learning and practicing proven techniques can open new horizons, make the sport easier on the land and certainly easier on the body.

Participants get 10 hours of personal instruction emphasizing technical skills to help master any trail conditions and gradients.

Some riders have taken the clinic multiple times, said clinic organizer Diana Roberts, who noted the weekend concludes with “great food and fantastic door prizes.”

Cost: $30 and club membership.

Register by Monday. Download form at www.spokanemountaineers.org .
