Rafter rescued from Spokane River

A rafter was rescued this afternoon from the fast-flowing Spokane River after her inflatable craft became stuck in debris beneath the Barker Road Bridge in Spokane Valley. Rescuers cut a hole in the bridge to reach her, pulling the woman to safety about 5:40 p.m.
