State Patrol watching for shooting suspect

Associated Press
SEATTLE — Law enforcement officers have been assigned to watch train and bus terminals, and the Washington State Patrol is monitoring freeways in the massive hunt for the suspect in the shooting death of four police officers. Agencies throughout Western Washington are cooperating in the effort to find 37-year-old Maurice Clemmons, sought in Sunday’s attack on the officers at a Parkland coffee shop. State Patrol Trooper Cliff Pratt says its officers are on high alert on all the roads that lead outside of Washington, but especially in the metropolitan area of Pierce, King and Snohomish counties. In addition, he says troopers already assigned to state ferry terminals have been alerted to watch for Clemmons.
