Fairfield City Council – Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich was in attendance to discuss the vandalism issues plaguing the town. Citizens are urged to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233 if they see any suspicious behavior. The town is once again raffling off cords of wood to raise money. A public hearing was held to discuss using Community Development Block Grant funds to pay for sewer work on Seward Ave. A second hearing was held to discuss projects eligible for the next round of CDBG funds.

Rockford City Council – The rehabilitation project on Emma is still under way and the town is also still working to acquire land for a water reservoir project. During the next council meeting there will be public hearings on a property tax increase request and Community Development Block Grants.
