History snubbed, brains scrubbed

The Spokesman-Review

It is too bad that so much is kept out of our history books. Unfortunately, most of what we learned about Hitler has been taken out of our textbooks. This is exactly what Hitler did with the children in Germany. What better way to brainwash them! If my children were in school today, I would not have sent them. Fortunately, they are in their 40s and do not have to be bothered by this. This sounds a lot like some of what goes on in these Third World countries.

I thought all of the presidential campaigning was finished – town hall meetings, etc.
