Obama betrays Northwest

The Spokesman-Review

The Obama administration has changed the BiOp plan that was agreed upon in 2008 by the federal government and the states of Idaho, Washington and Montana to assist in improving the salmon runs. However, there were no provisions to breach four major hydroelectric dams. Now the Obama administration in their “wisdom” has changed the plan that will allow for breaching these dams that are vital to the way of life in our region. Should these dams be breached, what happens to electric rates? What about irrigation for our agriculture interests?

Has our government folded once again to environmentalists? Have they taken into consideration the economic results? Do they have no thoughts for the citizens of this region?
