Firefighters discover body after house fire

The Spokesman-Review
A badly burned body was recovered from a house fire Sunday evening in the Rathdrum area of North Idaho. Neighbors to the residence at 10278 N. Church Road reported smoke coming from the single-wide manufactured home and attempted to put out the fire with garden hoses about 6:45 p.m. Firefighters found the body inside the burned residence two hours later, according to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Department. Due to the fire, the person could not be positively identified without further investigation, which is continuing.
