Tree removal will be topic at Tubbs Hill

A Saturday tour of Tubbs Hill will discuss the city of Coeur d’Alene’s efforts to remove non-native maple and cherry trees from the popular recreation area and restore white pine and larch. The tour begins at 9 a.m. at the East Tubbs Hill parking lot on 10th Street. The event is organized by the Coeur d’Alene Parks Department and Urban Forestry Committee.
