American Legion World Series going after big crowd today

The Spokane Regional Sports Commission, the host organization for the American Legion World Series, is putting out a challenge to sell out the title game today.

Today’s play begins at 4 p.m. at Avista Stadium. Tickets are $9 at the gate. Youth ages 5 to 16 in baseball jerseys get in free. Children under 5 are free.

The commission will also give away tickets to the Spokane Indians Sept. 7 playoff game as an incentive to draw fans.
