Dislike of Obama unfounded
At a recent event I overhead a conversation. A woman told her partner of a discussion she had with her mother. Apparently the mother hates Barack Obama, but whenever the woman asked mother what specifically about him she hated, the mother couldn’t answer. She just knew she hated him.
Recently Rush announced that a certain black congressman’s suitable job in Congress should be “driving Miss Nancy.”
Marlene Brazington’s vitriolic letter (Nov. 24) ridicules Barack Obama because he was a passenger in a limousine.
I would so like to know what specific thing our president did to Marlene for her to be so full of hate. Doesn’t she know other presidents have ridden in limousines? Doesn’t she know the Republican speaker of the House had a private jet? What she doesn’t seem to know, is that by many measures our country is better off than it was in 2008.
Perhaps the only way for some people to feel superior is to denigrate our president continually.
