Big wins for Zags, Cougs

Gonzaga and Washington State have impressive wins in women’s basketball on Sunday.

The Bulldogs romp at Montana as Courtney Vandersloot continues to be red-shot; the Cougars hand visiting Nevada it’s second loss.

Also, Angie Bjorklund (University) inches closes to Tennessee record for 3’s; Montana State gives UCLA a good run; Kate Loper (Post Falls) helps Hofstra to a win; and on Friday, Tara Cronin (Gonzaga Prep) had a game-high 17 to lead Portland past Hawaii.

Some upsets in the Top 25, which makes the weekly vote more difficult. But it’s done.
