A Sunday night fire at a Browne’s Addition apartment complex burned a single apartment and sent a firefighter who had breathing difficulties to a local hospital for evaluation. The fire was reported about 6:15 p.m. at the Mary Manor Apartments at 1906 W. Pacific Ave. The woman living in the apartment where the fire started reported seeing flames around the wall heater, said Spokane Fire Battalion Chief Steve Sabo. However, the cause of the fire remained under investigation Sunday night, he said. Tenants living in other apartments of the 10-unit complex were allowed back inside. The woman whose unit burned had another place to stay, Sabo said. No injuries were reported among the tenants.
