Send government in for repairs

The Spokesman-Review

Stimulus and budget bills display economic ignorance and national security lapses the failure of effective management and leadership. Our government is broken.

The president, his advisers and leadership in Congress do not accept the threat of radical Islam, nor realize the destructive consequences of a massive national debt.

Solutions are term limits and/or a third party.

Short-term corrections that could help America now:

Stop the spending and eliminate “pork.”

Don’t allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon and support the opposition as we did in Afghanistan and Poland (Solidarity) against Russia.

Replace Secretary of Homeland Security Ms. Napolitano (13 dead, Maj. Hasan, Fort Hood and 295 potential deaths on Northwest flight – both preventable with current information) and Attorney General Eric Holder (decision to try terrorists in New York and previous law firm represents Yemeni detainees). Neither have qualifications for their positions.

Don’t hold 9/11 terrorist trials in N.Y. Try all terrorists as war criminals with military tribunals.

Don’t close Guantanamo.

Have an impartial board of qualified people who support health care reform review and rewrite the proposed legislation.
