Praise anti-tax sentries

The Spokesman-Review

In the article on “Changing rules, filling gaps” (Jan. 10) there is a quote from Lisa Pelosi. I mean Brown.

She stated, “we will have to modify or repeal Initiative 960” to help in fixing our state budget. She further added that although the voters approved the measure, it doesn’t mean it can’t be changed.

What arrogance! The key words here are “voters approved.”

Tax this, tax that, it’s always the quickest way out, and now Brown and her cronies will try to make that as easy as possible. Have you looked at the additional costs on your license tabs lately? Thank goodness for Tim Eyman and those like him who work on our behalf to keep these trough-feeders in check.
