U-Hi presents ‘Miser’

The drama department at University High School, 12420 E. 32nd Ave., in the Central Valley School District will present the play, “The Miser … Maybe,” an adaptation of a French play by Moliere Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m.

The cast includes: Ben Bartels as Harpegon; Danny Bush as Valere/Cleante; Caitlin Stone as Elise/Marianne; Matt Haskins as La Fleche; Jon Bademian as Jacques; Kylene Peden as Frosine; and Tyler Tvie t as Senior Enselme; Hailey Longoria, stage manager; Andrea Malquist, producer; Alisha Pierce, costumer; and Sulamita Garbuz, sick actress/lover.

The play revolves around a traveling troupe of very bad, unorganized actors trying to perform the classic play, “The Miser.”

Tickets are $5 at the door.
