Idaho GOP calls all shots

The Spokesman-Review

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter and his Republican cronies are trying to destroy public education (they don’t help schools, they sue them), parks and recreation and Idaho public TV, which they have tried to do before.

Why? They call it fiscal responsibility. If that were true, why then do they shy away and only pay lip service to taxing big business and special interest groups.

I’ll tell you why. They would lose huge amounts of campaign contributions (money) to keep them in power, which is their No. 1 priority, not the welfare of the citizens of this great state.

If everyone paid their fair share, we wouldn’t be in such a fix. But, no, that would mean a level playing field and we certainly would not want that. Someone else might have a good idea, but then again if it didn’t come from a Republican, it would be dismissed immediately as a bad idea.

The citizens of Idaho have become a punching bag for these professional politicians. Enough is enough.
