Broncos power past Panthers

James Stevenson totaled 25 points, nine rebounds and six steals to propel the Lind-Ritzville Broncos (12-4, 6-3) to a 67-42 victory over the visiting Valley Christian Panthers (2-14, 0-8) in Bi-County League 2B action Saturday. Gunner Kresse paced Valley Christian with 14 points.

Northwest Christian 57, Reardan 43: Daniel Kuiper tallied 10 of his 12 points in a pull-away fourth quarter and the Crusaders (14-2, 8-0) defeated the visiting Indians (7-9, 3-6). Jake Hight scored 14 for Reardan, which was outscored 18-9 in the final period.

Bi-County 1B

Sprague-Harrington 53, Wilbur-Creston 44: Justin Clouse scored 13 and hit 6 of 6 free throws in the fourth quarter to help the Falcons (2-14, 1-3) rally for the upset win over the visiting Wildcats (10-7, 3-2). Travis Camp scored 11 for W-C, which was outscored 22-12 in the final period.

Great Northern

Clarkston 60, Medical Lake 28: Dustin McConnell notched 13 points and eight assists and Drew Adams scored 14 to lift the Bantams (8-3, 5-1) past the visiting Cardinals (1-11, 0-6). Kevin Fisher had 12 points for ML.

Pullman 43, Colville 37: Skylar Hatch had 11 points and nine rebounds and the Greyhounds (6-6, 5-1) outscored the visiting Indians (2-10, 1-5) 20-5 at the free-throw line en route to a victory. Andrew Walsh scored 13 to top Colville.

District 9 1B

Rosalia 66, Touchet 44: Jim Maley totaled 18 points and eight rebounds and Nathan Richards tallied 16 points, eight rebounds and nine blocked shots to power the undefeated Spartans (17-0, 7-0) past the visiting Indians (4-6, 3-4).

Tri-Cities Prep 50, St. John-Endicott 36: Will Hoppes scored nine of his game-high 23 points in a momentum-changing third quarter and the Jaguars (5-2 league) pulled out the win over the visiting Eagles (5-9, 0-5). Dylan Schmick scored 10 for SJE, which was outscored 23-11 in the third period.

Panorama

Cusick 69, Columbia 23: Tyler Edwards scored 16 to lead four players in double figures and the visiting Panthers (13-4, 9-2) pounced on the Lions (3-14, 3-10) early and often at Hunters. Dominic Marquez led the Lions with 12 points. Cusick held Columbia to single digits in each quarter and led 30-14 at the half.

Springdale 45, Republic 44: Rodney Abrahamson scored 17 points and hit the winner with 7 seconds left to lift the Chargers (9-9, 6-6) over the visiting Tigers (9-7, 5-7). Justin Wilson topped Republic with 15 points.

St. George’s 62, Northport 35: Jordan Dickson had a double-double – 13 points, 12 rebounds – to guide the Dragons (14-4, 10-2) to an easy win over the visiting Mustangs (5-10, 3-9). Gerhard Muelheims added 11 points for St. George’s, while Mark Kenney scored 10. Matt Owings topped Northport with 11 points.

Inchelium 49, St. Michael’s 42: Chad Rosenbaum lit up the scoreboard with 23 points, Tony Louie added 14 points and the visiting Hornets (11-5, 8-4) scored the last five points of the game to hold off the Warriors (2-11, 2-10). Michael Ochoa finished with 20 points to top St. Michael’s.

Wellpinit 84, Curlew 43: Cody Flett buried shots all night, scoring 34 points to go with 15 rebounds as the Redskins (15-2, 12-0) remained unbeaten in league with a romp over the winless Cougars (0-15, 0-12).

Caribou Trail

Chelan 89, Lake Roosevelt 52: Joe Harris ripped the nets for 41 points, 17 in the first quarter, and the visiting Goats romped to a victory over the Raiders at Coulee Dam. Ty Egbert had 15 points and 13 rebounds for LR, which fell behind 36-15 after one quarter.

Intermountain

Bonners Ferry 49, St. Maries 47: Mat Evans tallied 17 points and Aaron Moe scored 16 to spark the Badgers (4-8, 1-2) to a victory over the visiting Lumberjacks (5-5, 2-2). St. Maries got a game-high 18 points from Zach Lehman.

Priest River 62, Kellogg 48: Jake Weimer tallied 27 points and the visiting Spartans (10-3, 3-0) hit 14 of 18 free throws in the fourth quarter en route to a win over the Wildcats (10-5, 3-1) in a battle for first place. Joe Bren topped Kellogg with 13 points.

Central Idaho

Coeur d’Alene Charter 54, Grangeville 53: Bob Schrack had a double-double – 15 points, 11 rebounds – and freshman Bryan Smith buried a jump shot with 1.9 seconds left to lift the Panthers (10-6, 1-0) over the visiting Bulldogs (2-8, 0-2).

Nonleague

Garfield-Palouse 64, Dayton 52: Gavin Burt poured in 20 points, including eight in a pivotal third quarter, to send the Vikings (10-3) over the host Bulldogs. Lee Roach added 11 points for Gar-Pal, which outscored Dayton 15-6 in the third period, after leading by two at halftime. Garett Turner paced the Bulldogs with 20 points.

Liberty Christian 78, Tekoa-Oakesdale 46: Jake Siefken scored 28 points and the Patriots ran away from the Nighthawks (2-11) at Richland. Drake Hinkins scored 13 for T-O.

Riverside 59, Newport 52: Jordan Wood tossed in 18 points and Dustin Martin scored 13 to lead the Rams (6-7) over the host Grizzlies (5-13). Jake Wiley totaled 18 points and 10 rebounds for Newport.

Liberty 61, Odessa 50: Eric Hammond tallied 18 points and the Lancers (5-11) outscored the host Tigers (7-10) 16-9 in the fourth quarter to pull out the win. Aaron Bruya had 17 points and 14 rebounds for Odessa.

Sandpoint 56, Lewiston 51: Stefan Buratto hit 5 of 10 3-pointers and finished with 27 points to propel the Bulldogs (4-7) to a win over the visiting Bengals (7-6). Justin Podrabsky notched 19 points and eight rebounds for Lewiston.

Waitsburg-Prescott 55, Pomeroy 38: The Cardinals jumped out to a 31-16 lead by halftime and breezed past the visiting Pirates (6-8). Sean Beale had 10 points for Pomeroy.
