Three stabbed at Club Uno early this morning

Police working with liquor control board to monitor issues at nightclub

Spokane police are investigating a melee at a downtown nightclub early this morning where three people were stabbed. Officer Jennifer DeRuwe, a police spokeswoman, said no one was arrested in the incident that occurred about 1:30 a.m. at Club Uno, 515 W. Sprague Ave. She said injuries were not serious. The incident occurred when a large crowd gathered at the club. Further details of this morning’s incident were not immediately available. DeRuwe said police have been working with the Washington State Liquor Control Board to monitor issues that have come up at Uno. Another stabbing occurred just outside Uno on Oct. 28. In that incident, Kenneth R. Budik and Charles L. Lucious were injured. Budik was a victim in a 2007 shooting that killed gang member Adama Walton.
