Idaho Health and Welfare offices to close

The Spokesman-Review
BOISE – The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare says starting this Friday it will close its offices every other Friday through at least June 11 to save money. The agency says it will save about $1 million this fiscal year with the move. It says employees will take 108 furlough hours resulting in a 5.2 percent reduction in pay. The agency says essential services such as child protection will not be affected.
