Man cut during fight at transient camp

The Spokesman-Review
A 47-year-old man was cut on the throat Monday evening in a drunken dispute at a Spokane Valley transient camp. The victim was taken to Spokane Valley Hospital and Medical Center where he was treated and released. Spokane Valley police arrested Michael R. Bullock, 37, on a charge of first-degree assault. He was living in a camp in a fenced, wooded area south of Interstate 90 between Sullivan and Evergreen when a fight broke out and a knife was pulled. Another transient called for help on a cell phone, said Sgt. Dave Reagan, police spokesman. Officers were going to contact the property owner and ask for ways to stop transients from getting on the land, Reagan said.
