Who Let the Girls Out?

You’re not going to find a better way to spend your Saturday. So grab your favorite girls, jump in the car and make your way over to Newport. Yes, little bitty Newport.

From 9-5 on Saturday you can stroll between 8 quaint shops that include everything from clothing and home decor to antiques and cinnamon rolls. Seriously, there is something for everyone.

At your first stop be sure to pick up a passportm then have it stamped at each shop…no purchase necessary. At the end of your shopping spree, turn it in for 8 chances to win a $100 gift card at one of the shops.

But the best part?? Each store is basically throwing a party! They are showing off their local love and it’s all about the girls!

My friend Maggie owns the Shanty Boutique, one of the sweet shops on the hop. She tells me they’ll be debuting their Christmas stuff, and you can get the first peek at all the new apparel…yummy sweaters, cozy scarves, and groovy jewelry.

If you do purchase something at Maggie’s store, you will be entered into a drawing for a basket full of Shanty’s favorites including a Tokyo Milk perfume, candles and many more surprises.

Since shopping is such hard work, they’ll be ser ving some very yummy beverages and nibbles at all the stores. I know the Shanty will share their famous pumpkin cookies with maple frosting…to die for good!
