Church bazaars offer crafts, treats

Craft sales and bazaars continue this weekend at many area churches.

Emmanuel Presbyterian Church, 1926 W. Chelan Ave., will present its annual Fall Bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items for sale include baked goods, handcrafted items, cutlery, quilts and white elephant gifts. There also will be a raffle for a handmade quilt and matching pillows.

Lunch will be available for purchase. There will be sandwiches, soups and pies.

Trinity United Methodist Church, 1725 E. Bridgeport Ave., will present its annual Turkey Dinner and Bazaar today from 5 to 7 p.m.

The sale will include crafts, baked goods and candy.

The turkey dinner is $9 for adults and $5 for children age 6 through 12.

Covenant United Methodist Church, 15515 N. Gleneden Drive, will present its Holiday Arts and Crafts Festival Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The sale will include handmade items, food concessions and a coffee bar.

• The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 127 E. 12th Ave., will present its bazaar Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the day will include tours, raffles, music, food and craft items for sale.

Mission Community Presbyterian Church, 2103 E. Mission Ave., will present its annual Christmas Bazaar Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Items for sale include Christmas items, baked goods, gift baskets and more.

Wine tasting, auction

St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 5720 S. Perry St., will present its Toasting and Tasting event Saturday from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

The cost to attend is $30 and will include appetizers, live and silent auctions and music.

Concert

First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd., will present the band Sons of Day, Sunday at 6 p.m.

The group includes members originally from Russia and has been touring the Northwest.

Auction

The Fig Tree will present its Second Annual Harvest Auction today from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, 127 E. 12th Ave.

The evening will include appetizers, live and silent auction items and a tribute to Veterans.

Tickets are $5. The proceeds will benefit the Fig Tree.

Celtic celebration

St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall St., will present, “We are One,” a Celtic celebration and service today at 7 p.m.

The theme of the service will discuss how the religions of the world share the values of love and compassion. There will be sung chants, Communion, Celtic prayers and music.

A potluck will follow the service.
