Jamaica’N Me Homesick #6

Although I’m a big fan of snow in the mountains, it’s been at least a decade since I downhilled. And I haven’t stepped into cross-country skis in about 4 years. But I’d really like to get back into it.

So I was totally bummed when I found out I’d have to miss REI’s Winter Sports Kick-Off and Twinkie Roast event on Saturday.

Vendors and folks from local ski mountains will be at REI to fill you in on the latest slopes info, plus there’ll be fabulous prizes. And, yes, there’ll be Twinkie roasting. ‘Nuff said.

Ring in the snow year at REI, this Saturday, from 11 to 4. Seriously, if you roast a Twinkie, I want to hear about it.
