Road cleared after frozen fish flies at Fishtrap on I-90
One lane of Interstate 90 was blocked this morning at the Fishtrap Lake exit when a semi truck with a load of frozen salmon overturned, spilling its load.
The Washington State Patrol reported the roadway clear at about 9:40 a.m.
Cases of fish at Fishtrap were scattered around the scene following the 2:45 a.m. mishap, according to WSP troopers.
The trailer ruptured in the accident, which occurred 23 miles southwest of Spokane.
Efforts were underway shortly before 9 a.m. to get the truck and trailer back on their wheels.
