Refueling depot big mistake

The public officials who permitted the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway to build their refueling depot above the aquifer were foolish, period. BNSF’s track record as environmental stewards concerning fuel and aquifers is abysmal.

The powers that be should revoke the licenses which allow BNSF to house their refueling depot above the aquifer. Also a stipulation in the law should be imposed so no more fuel or other hazardous materials depots of any kind can be built above the aquifer in the future.

Of course, this will not happen because the lure of money from huge corporate entities outweighs any rational thought concerning the environment or any community which depends upon clean water to survive.
