Chiefs lose big at Tri-City

The Spokane Chiefs fell hard at Tri-City Saturday night, 8-3, giving them two loses, one in overtime, in their big three-games-in-three-nights - all on the road - against U.S. Division rivals. And it only gets tougher this evening with a visit to play Western Hockey League-leading Portland. The Tri-City Herald story is here with the long box below. Spokane coach Don Nachbaur called it an off-night, the Chiefs’ first in a month.
