Works well with others

As a former member of the board of trustees for Greater Spokane Incorporated, I had the good fortune to regularly hear Sen. Chris Marr provide updates detailing legislative activities being addressed in Olympia each session. His reports were always extremely insightful and comprehensive, and it was obvious he understood the complexities of the multimillion and billion dollar budgets he was responsible for.

When presenting before our board, Sen. Marr knew he would be asked tough questions by business owners and civic leaders, and every time he was ready with specific, factual answers. He didn’t sidestep the hardest issues and faced the realities of our state budget shortfalls with the acumen and empathy of a former business owner.

We all want a senator that has the skills, experience and diplomacy and to work hand in hand with other leaders around the state and in our community. Sen. Marr has been doing that these past four years. He’s a problem solver, a creative thinker and someone willing to work with everyone at the table. Sen. Marr has brought together an amazing coalition of supporters across this community and I hope we can return him to Olympia again this fall.
