Beverage of choice

A picture on the front page of the Northwest section of the Sept. 7 Spokesman-Review shows a couple sitting in lawn chairs at Comstock Park, toasting each other with wine glasses. I assume there is wine in the glasses.

Correct me if I am wrong. I thought alcohol was prohibited and illegal in parks.

If the two people had been homeless people sitting on the grass sharing a 40-ounce beer, more than likely they would be ticketed, banned from the park or arrested.

Spokane hypocrisy and discrimination at its best.
