Kindness best approach

I have never been in the service so I know nothing about gays in the military. We hear about “don’t ask, don’t tell,” and it seems to me it creates some fear or tension.

I have had a few friends in the past who were gay and I can say with certainty that they did not choose to be gay.

Who knows what our genes and hormones will create? All I can say is, show a little kindness.
