Driver accused of ramming vehicle, pointing rifle at man
Spokane police arrested a 59-year-old man Tuesday after he allegedly rammed another vehicle and pointed a rifle at the driver who followed him.
Ramsay A. Munden was booked into Spokane County Jail on three charges of first-degree assault and a charge of attempting to elude an officer.
A man told police he was driving downtown when a reckless pickup driver attempted to pass him but could not.
The pickup driver reappeared at another location and rammed his vehicle, the man said. He went to get a friend and then reported the incident to police by cell phone, but encountered the pickup driver a third time at a supermarket parking lot in Browne’s Addition, according to Spokane police.
The pickup driver pointed a rifle at the man and his friend and then sped off, police said.
Police arrested Munden a short distance away.
