Motorcyclist killed in North Side crash

From Staff Reports

Spokane County sheriff’s deputies say a 27-year-old man died Saturday night when his motorcycle left the road near Pinewood Road and Waikiki Road in north Spokane.

The driver’s identity was not released, pending an autopsy today.

When responding to the crash, deputies found the man along the road injured and unconscious. He died a short while later, according to the Sheriff’s Office report. He was driving a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle.

Speed and alcohol were factors in the crash, according to an investigators accident report. No other details were provided.
