Comcast offering Japan TV news updates

Area Comcast subscribers can stay current on developments in Japan by watching Japan TV on Channel 245.

Comcast and managers of Japan TV agreed to make the service freely available for a time; it’s usually a paid service.

“They know very well how desperate people here are to find information,” said Comcast spokesman Walt Neary.
