Burlington-Edison beats Clarkston in 2A semifinals
YAKIMA – Reed Perry took a shutout into the seventh inning and the Burlington-Edison Tigers breezed to an 8-3 victory over the Clarkston Bantams in a State 2A semifinal baseball game on Friday.
Perry’s batterymate Dylan Boe had three hits to propel the Tigers (16-8) into today’s championship game against Sehome. The Mariners edged the Chehalis Bearcats 3-2 in the other semifinal.
Laykon Bush had two hits, including a double, for the Bantams. Clarkston (20-6) managed just seven hits off Perry and scored all its runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
