One killed in crash near Clayton

A three-car crash in Stevens County near Clayton has left one dead. The identity of the deceased and others involved have not been released. The crash occurred at 5:20 p.m. on northbound Highway 395 at Williams Valley Road, according to the Washington State Patrol. The driver that authorities say caused the crash died at 5:55 p.m. The crash blocked the road for about an hour and drivers rerouted through Clayton. The road has since been reopened. It is unknown at this time whether anyone else was injured in the crash.
