Spokane County cities wary of pot clubs
Wed., Dec. 12, 2012
SPOKANE — Two Spokane County cities, Cheney and Medical Lake, have passed six-month moratoriums on growing, processing and selling recreational marijuana.
News reports say the cities want to prevent anyone from opening a pot shop before the state establishes rules.
The state says it will take about a year to establish regulations to implement the law approved by voters last month.
