Meals on Wheels benefit drive under way

During July, Downtown Spokane Grocery Outlet, 1617 W. Third Ave., is conducting an Independence from Hunger food drive to benefit Meals on Wheels Spokane.

Grocery Outlet visitors are encouraged to help those in need by donating nonperishable food items. Items have been specially marked on Grocery Outlet’s shelves and collection bins have been placed in front of the store. For those who would like to donate money, cashiers will be collecting donations at the register. Donations will go directly to Meals on Wheels Spokane.
