WEBER, John “Jack”
(Age 88)

Of Uniontown, WA passed away on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at his Uniontown home.

The Rosary will be recited on Monday, Nov. 5, 1012 at 10:30 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Uniontown, WA.

The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM.

Vault interment will be held at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Uniontown.

Jack was born March 7, 1924 in Uniontown third of ten children born to John Gregory and Mary Marguerite (Adams) Weber.

He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Uniontown.

Following his graduation from high school, Jack remained on the family farm until he and Jeanette Teresa Meyer married on October 8, 1947 in Colton, WA.

He continued farming for a while until going to work at the Uniontown Coop where he remained as a warehouseman until his retirement in 1989.

After retirement Jack became a Wellwitcher, spending significant time traveling throughout Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

Jack was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

He was an active community member through the years and served as Uniontown’s Mayor for a number of years.

Jack managed St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery for nearly 20 years.

He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing and gardening.

Jack and Jeanette loved family gatherings and traveling to visit their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jack is survived by his two sons Pete (Ginny) Weber of East Wenatchee, WA; Chris (Lisa) Weber of Spokane, WA; his five daughters Ann (Don) Drader of Moses Lake, WA; Patty (Tom) Schreck of Davenport, WA; Jeanne (Ken) Prier of Portland, OR; Roberta (John) Hunter of Sedro Woolley, WA; Margaret (Tony) Gaspich of Bainbridge Island, WA; 24 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers Martin and Dick Weber and one sister Mary Ann Niehenke.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife Jeanette, a son Chuck Weber, one sister and five brothers.
