Age 94

KELLY, Edward J.

3/10/18-11/1/12 Ed passed away on November 1st at Riverview Care Center from complications of pneu-monia.

He is survived by three children Tom Kelly (Jenny) Billings, MT, Joann Pritchard (Bob) Spokane, WA, Rosemary Davis (Kirk) Liberty Lake, WA; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one brother John Kelly, Normandy Park, WA and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ellen and his son Ed.

He proudly served in the US Army as a tank driver during WWII including the drive lead by George S. Patton across France into Germany.

He and Don Gilmore purchased Spokane Roofing Company in 1956.

He continued to own Spokane Roofing until he retired in 1983.

He enjoyed playing handball and his memberships in the Athletic Roundtable, Elks, Eagles and the Spokane Club.

After he retired he began the practice of spending winters in California and Arizona and traveling the world.

His family wishes to thank the employees of Riverview Care Center for their kind and compassionate care in his last days.

We will be forever grateful.

A memorial will be planned at a later date.
